Recently joined Citadel, having previously practiced from other Chambers in Birmingham, most recently St. Ives.

Instructed by both prosecution and defence and has wide experience in the most serious criminal matters. Has prosecuted a manslaughter without the assistances of Leading Counsel, and has led for both the prosecution and defence on a number of occasions.   Regularly instructed in cases involving allegations of homicide, serious allegations of violence and public disorder, and sexual offences.

Although he no longer undertakes care work, his experience in this area makes him particularly sensitive when dealing with vulnerable defendants and witnesses,  especially in cases involving allegations of serious sexual offences - an area in which he has specialised.
