Rachel Brand QC has successfully prosecuted a man for killing his eight week old baby.
At Birmingham Crown Court on 12 December 2011 the man was convicted of manslaughter, following a trial in which the Jury heard evidence from several medical experts about substantial brain injury caused by impact and shaking.
